T

Tadpole - To bad it can't achieve anything close to a real theme, idea or intelligent conception.

The Talented Mr. Ripley- Is such an ugly, distasteful and repulsive anti-gay epic that if Mr. Damon is queer, he is the proverbial self-hating fag.

Tales from the Crypt - Offering up a silly twist ending that would have had Rod Serling spinning in his grave - had he been dead in 1972.

Taliesin Jones - The film's subtle and beautiful storytelling reminds the viewer of his youth, a time when belief came easily.

Talk to Her - This is one of the most well-crafted scripts to see the light of a projector this year.

Tape - One of the most taunt and claustrophobic psychological dramas to appear since Tennessee Williams died.

The Target Shoots First - the filmmaker's ability to capture many genuine and honest moments on film is breathtaking.

Tarnation - It is an amazing story, one that will amaze most who view it.

Taxi Driver - I was sorry I ever bothered.

Team America: World Police - So ridiculous and so fucking hilarious that you better not by a Coke when you go to the theater because you are going to pee your pants if there is an ounce of liquid in your kidneys.

Tell Them Who You Are - It gets tiresome quite quickly.

10 Attitudes - Ultimately the wit and freshness of the plot and acting overcome any obstacles.

Ten Hundred Kings - Static, tense, and almost unflinching, "Ten Hundred Kings," is a poignant rumination on loss and loneliness.

The Terminal - A film that is more about how people who are thrown together often come together as a family.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - A wonderful capper to the "Terminator" series and certainly leaves way for many films to follow.

Testosterone - Stereotypical "gay guys always kill each other" plot that is so silly and ridiculous that it doesn't even work as an absurdist comedy.

That Man: Peter Berlin - The ultimate primer on the man and his myth.

The Thin Red Line - The man is obviously unstable and, unfortunately, this does not help him compose a involving film.

The Third Society - This is the kind of film that is an equal opportunity sedative. It will put anyone, any age, any gender, any sexual orientation, any IQ, right to sleep.

The United States of Leland - It is hard to imagine a film with more sadness at its core.

Thirteen - What a crock of boring poop.

Thirteen Days - After about 2 hours you do begin to hope that the date shown signifies the thirteenth day and a resolution to the plot.

This Film is Not Yet Rated - Hatchet job of a film.

A Thousand Acres - It encompasses so much feeling deriving from so many emotional layers that it soon envelops us in the lives of it's rich characters.

Three... Extremes - Two-thirds a great movie.

Three Kings - It's quartet of principles do such a kick ass job of making the film a non-stop thrill ride.

3-Iron - It's hard to imagine a film more wondrously and subtly beautiful.

Thumbsucker - Disfunction middle class families have become the staple of independent films lately it seems.

THX 1138 - Quite possibly the most commercial avant-garde film ever made.

Tibet: Cry of the Snow Lion - Might seem like left-wing propaganda if what we were being told wasn't so obviously true.

Tie Me Up Tie Me Down - The film isn't kinky at all, rather it's an odd societal study of male/female relationships.

Tillsammans - At least the film wants to end happily, wants to show some love at the end of the rainbow.

Time Changer - This Bible-thumpin', low-budget, cheesy, and averagely acted "Religious" film didn't bug me too much.

Time Code - Mike Figgis' quad-screen film, a Warholian extrapalation of digital technology, is more than just a cybernetic manipulation of time and space, it is a visual poem.

The Times of Harvey Milk - Has that rare ability to makes us happy and sad, joyous and angry, jubilant and celebratory as well as humbled and realistic.

Time of the Wolf - You don't want to know anything about this film before you see it. Trust me.

Times Square - An angst ridden mess that will always have a place in my heart, is an abject failure.

The Tin Drum - Surely one of the most unusual narrative films ever made.

Titanic - Epic and disquieting, "Titanic" is two movies in one.

To Be and To Have - One of the most charming, delicate, sweet and simple films I've ever seen.

To Die For - Is strange enough to put off the normal viewer but much too weak to excite his following. This is watered-down weirdness.

To End All Wars - Who wants to see a WWII Prisoner of War movie? Anyone... No. Too bad, you're going to miss a masterpiece.

To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday - Although it's a bit stagy and a bit of a soap opera, this play turned script by Kelley has moments where it is interesting and engaging.

Tokyo Godfathers - It is the story, the characters and the emotions that make this film a real gem.

Tomcats - The absence of tits in "Tomcats" makes it fairly susceptible to legal prosecution for false advertising.

Too High, Too Wide, Too Long - Highly interesting as a document of Texan artist Bob Wade.

Top Speed - Near he top of my list for worst IMAX films of all time.

Torremolinos 73 - Features some nudity and sexual situations, but it is hard to imagine a more gentile and innocent little film.

Totally Fucked Up - All the shit that comes with being a gay teenager.

Totally Sexy Loser - Totally Awesome Movie.

Touch of Pink - Has been done before.

Touching the Void - You simply must see this film!

To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar - This film is a celebration of individuality that hits all the right chords.

Town and Country - When you see a movie with so many damn things gone wrong - and started wrong, it causes a sort of dull throb in the frontal lobes.

Toy Story - The story is key here. It revolves around a group of toys belonging to a particularly normal little boy named Andy.

Toy Story 2- Even though it's not quite as good as the original, "ToyStory 2" is one of the best animated features to grace the screen ever.

Traffic - It's racism tarted up as artsy-fartsy pretension.

Transamerica - To achieve this with a transgendered lead and a bisexual hustler as a secondary character is revolutionary.

Transfixed - Bold, edgy, challenging and often uncomfortable.

Trapped - Is just one of those films where everything seems to be exactly what you think it is going to be.

Trash - We get the feeling that we are behind closed doors here, taken into a world that most people never get to see.

Travellers and Magicians - This is one of those fun and wonderful surprises that just makes seeing foreign films a real treat.

Treasure Planet - Disney has really dropped the ball.

Trembling Before G-d - With notes on Waking Life.

Trial and Error - Silly and pointless tripe about discovering who you are through lies and deceit.

The Trials of Henry Kissinger - Skewed, subjective and imminently fascinating.

Trick - It just might be the most romantic and wonderful gay American movie ever!

The Trip - Although "The Trip" plays out over 10 years and delves into drug use, promiscuity, abusive lovers, and AIDS, it is still one of the most refreshing and hilarious gay films to be seen.

The Triplets of Belleville - One of the most quaint little films you will ever see.

Troma Shorts - Including: Breaking and Entering, A Waiter Tomorrow, 3 Years of Scary Little Town.

Trouble Every Day - Boring every minute.

Troy - I found it enormous fun.

The Truman Show - Spits in the face of all those fans who made him a star. This figurative slap to the public is a wonderful surprise to those of us who doubted the man's talent.

Trust - This is not the real world but simply a place that exists somewhere within the confines of the real world.

Tully - This film makes "The Waltons" look like they were on speed.

The Tunnel - This is the most pretentious and mind-numbingly dull film I've ever seen. EVER. And I've seen some real shit in my time.

Turtles Can Fly - It's a horrific and depressing tale.

Tuvalu - It's as disposable as a Bic razor and as fluffy as cotton candy. Yet as unforgettable as Levant's pock- marked face...

The TV Set - Rearrange the letters of the word “inspired” and you can almost make the word “insipid” and that’s just about all you are going to get here.

Twelve - For everyone who almost puked at the jittery and shaky camera work of "Blair Witch"

12 Monkeys - It sometimes seems as if the director is actually paying homage to himself.

21 Grams - Little more than a well-worn Movie of the Week plot tarted up to seem significant and new.

28 Days - Does manage to deliver something stronger than we expect.

28 Days Later - Is supposed to be edgy and new wave and yet seems tired and familiar.

24 Hour Party People - It desperately wants us to believe it is hip and cool and does everything in its power to convince us so. We are wiser.

The 25th Hour - The first, single most important movie about America in the post-9/11 world.

29th and Gay - What does utterly fail the film is its director and editor.

Twilight - Seems fully aware of Newman's age and Benton even paces the film at the gait of an old man.

Twin Falls Idaho - the film weaves around it in ever shrinking concentric circles until it's final moments.

Twist - Exactly the most typical thing you would expect and the result is a humdrum and cliched film that bores you throughout.

Twister - Is long on special effects but it comes up short in the characters and plot department.

2am - Derivative, sloppy, painfully bad excursion in to why things like good acting, good direction, good dialogue and interesting stories are important to making a film work.

2 Fast 2 Furious - Cars, cars and even faster cars!

Two Birds with One Stallone - It is quite possibly the most annoying movie I've ever seen.

2003 Agliff Shorts - Lodger gets into somebody's shorts again.

Two Weeks Notice - It just gets tedious and monotonous.

The Typewriter, The Rifle and the Camera - The great thing about this documentary isn't that it's an awesome insight into the man for fans, but rather than it is an awesome insight into the man for newbies who know nothing about Fuller.

200 American - A sweet and delightful film.

200 Cigarettes - I liked this movie but I bet I'm one of a handful.

2000 Seen By - Filmmaker's were asked to make pieces on their vision of "the last day of the millennium.

2001: A Space Odyssey - Resonates as a haunting and vibrant masterpiece.
